Resume

Alessia Paccagnini is an Associate Professor at University College Dublin (UCD), a research associate at the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA), and the Scientific Communication Co-Manager and Diversity Co-Leader for COST Action FinTech and AI. She published her research in macroeconometrics in top journals (among others, the Journal of Econometrics, the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, the International Journal of Forecasting,  the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and the Journal of Business Ethics) and is the recipient of multiple research and teaching awards, including the Gender, Diversity, & Entrepreneurship Kauffman Award. Alessia is an associate editor of the International Journal of Economics and Finance and the co-organizer of the (online) Applied Econometrics for Macroeconomics workshop. She had several research and teaching positions at top institutions, including the ECB, Bank of England, UPF, UPenn, EUI, and Bocconi University, where she got her Ph.D. At UCD, Alessia teaches econometrics and is also the Academic Director of the Master in Quantitative Finance and Co-Chair of the Women in STEM committee.
