Abstract

The presentation delves into the dynamic interplay between AI technology and the field of behavioral economics, specifically human decision-making. We highlight the various ways in which AI can contribute to the study of human decision-making, particularly by uncovering new behavioral biases that impede optimal decision-making. Furthermore, we explore and illustrate examples of how AI can be leveraged to enhance human decision-making, exploit behavioral biases in certain contexts, and even design more effective nudges.
